Clothes for the Lads Guide

A quick guide to the main Clothes for the Lads sections, from jackets and sale finds to new arrivals, sizing notes and more.

Jackets for the Lads

Jackets are a big part of what we do. From everyday coats and overshirts to technical jackets and premium pieces, we’ll be picking out new releases, favourites and worthwhile offers from across the brands and retailers we cover.

Sale for the Lads

Not every sale is a bargain. We’ll highlight reductions we think are actually worth a look rather than filling the page with hundreds of products simply because they’ve got a percentage knocked off.

New In

New releases and products we’ve spotted from the brands we follow. We won’t try to show everything — just a regularly updated selection worth checking out.

Brand & Sizing Guides

Sizing between brands can be all over the place.

Our guides bring together published sizing information and useful fit guidance to give you a better idea of what to expect before ordering. They’re intended as a practical reference rather than a promise that a particular size will fit everyone.

Footwear

Trainers, shoes and boots from established favourites and brands worth discovering, including new releases and sale finds.

Clothes for the Lads — the app

We’re also developing a Clothes for the Lads mobile app, designed to make finding and accessing the brands, products and information you want even more convenient.

It’ll work alongside the website, giving you another simple way to get to Clothes for the Lads wherever you are.

And there’s more coming

Clothes for the Lads will continue to grow, with more brands, categories, guides and useful features added along the way.

We’re not here to tell you what’s fashionable or what you should be wearing.

We’re here to make it easier to find the stuff you actually want.

Time to Button Up

There’s that awkward bit of the year when it’s too chilly to wander around in just a T-shirt, but not cold enough to start reaching for the hoodies or jackets.

That’s where a decent shirt or overshirt earns its keep.

Wear one open over a T-shirt, button it up when it gets a bit colder, or throw on an overshirt when you need an extra layer without feeling like you’re dressed for December.

But shirts aren’t just about keeping warm.

Sometimes you’re going out for a meal, having a few drinks, or you just fancy looking a bit smarter without getting properly dressed up. A decent shirt with jeans or chinos can do the job without making you look like you’ve just come from the office.

From checks, denim and heavier overshirts to something cleaner and smarter for a night out, there’s plenty to choose from.
